Mama Chupacabra

Inspirational song: If You Wanna Be Happy (Jimmy Soul)

What do you suppose is the most stressful thing that could happen when one is trying to pack up her home of four years, as she is transitioning into a temporarily uncertain future? Whatever you guessed, it's probably not as out there as what was happening this evening as I drove home from class. Less than a week to go before closing of the sale on Bonfire Gardens, and the goofy little girl dog decided to distract everyone with a litter of puppies. Now there will be added chaos, extra bodies, soon more mouths to feed (although for now, Baby Girl will handle that part herself), and all the additional smells, messes, and cleaning needs to get the house ready to turn over to the new owners. Plus, these little guys are only going to be six days old when she will have to move them to their transitional living quarters. I hope in a couple months the Bonfire Leader can find four people who want a puppy who is three quarters Boston terrier and one quarter Chupacabra.

I'm not going to hide it. I hope at least one puppy looks like mama, especially with her funny little underbite. I'm holding my breath to see what baby number four looks like. By press time, we only had three pups.
