Turns out the Cutest Kid in Colorado is darned lucky too. She was fortunate enough to have a grandpa who wanted to take her out sledding on this chilly snow day. He went and picked her up, and together they walked to the park near her house for some fresh air and exercise. Her mommy was in training for her new job. Don't know what her daddy was doing. But she got quality Grandpa-and-Me time, and judging from the videos he sent us, she loved it. She rode on the sled for part of the way there, took some solo runs down the hill and some bobsled team runs with grandpa. He sent one video as they were leaving the park of her walking behind him, and he was trying to get her to follow a little more closely when she veered off and started walking faster the other way down the trail. He spun the camera the direction she was jogging, and there was someone walking a very cute doggie. Oh. Apparently the dog was a little too excited for a close meeting, but I guess we know she's interested.
Grandpa said that she insisted on walking the whole way home, refusing any assistance. That is, until they got right to the edge of her property line. Then she stopped, turned to face him, put her arms out, and demanded to be carried. She was suddenly too cold to go on. How perfectly cute. Warm milk was waiting for her inside, and she was all sorts of ready for it.
