So much for that idea. Just turned off the basketball game. Buffs did not pull it out in the end, and Oregon won the last championship of the PAC-12. Now we wait for selection Sunday tomorrow, and see what happens from here. I haven't paid any attention to the other teams at all this year, so when I make brackets, it's going to be by colors I like or places I enjoy visiting, not by any valid evaluation of team play.
We took Beinn Appa in for his initial visit with our preferred vet this morning. He was so wildly happy to be wearing his vest and lead. I felt bad that we were only going to the car and back (plus a quick detour past Ziggi's for coffee and a pup cup). He loved on the staff at the vet and was a champ with his shots. He's also the goodest boy riding in a car. Calmer than his daughter, that's for sure. We need to take him more places. He really liked it.
Since we now have an additional 108 pounds of dog to feed, babysitting today started at Costco. It's amazing how fast we go through kibble now. The human children were rambunctious and funny and sweet, as always. I let them play in the bath until the boy's teeth were chattering, and even then I had to coax his sister out of the then-cold water. We had a bath bomb that turned the water dark purple, but luckily both children emerged the same color they started before the bath. Purple would have been fun, though.
