Oh, wow. I just don't have it tonight. I didn't have much energy to babysit and plant the garden, but I did as much as I could. Valerie was so sweet, helping her grandpa plant corn and peas. Dmitri hung out with them, outside of the garden fence. I did a little fetching and carrying and cat herding. Potting up the rest of my flowers can wait until a different day.
I would love to write something profound about mothers day. Maybe by August I'll be rested up enough to loop back around and say something nice. Until then, yay to all moms and those mom-adjacent folks too.
