The answer to yesterday's question is "b. spring cold." I'm still sneezing, still congested, still unable to think my way out of a wet paper sack. Kirkland brand DayQuil pills are sort of helping, but the good ones are on tap for bedtime.
We are smack-dab in the middle of a Very Large Wind Event. The front range is predicted to see 100mph gusts overnight through noon tomorrow. The wind is absolutely blowing up a storm, and the weathermen are trying to impress upon the population of Colorado that this is to be taken seriously. Xcel Energy got the message, and several counties have had their power lines de-energized. Nobody wants a repeat of the Marshall Fire from a couple years ago, where we lost significant parts of two entire towns. My town has its own municipality-owned electrical company, so we may not lose power. If we have to, fine. Better safe than sorry.
I had a few pictures from Costco, where Dmitri learned how to ask for a dragon (sea serpent giant sprinkler yard toy), and from lunch, where he fell asleep before we could even order food for him.
How long do I have to wait before I take the nighttime cold meds?
