Inspirational song: Come Dancing (The Kinks)

I dragged it out for hours, pretending there was a way to make a spectacularly dull day interesting on paper. But there is no way to make a car wash lyrically beautiful (other than the 1970s song). Both of us used the new carpet shampooer to spruce up the insides of our Foci, and we each went separately over to the drive through car wash to make the outsides glisten. Yawn. 

I could try to go on in this vein, but why? I have a couple of good pictures of dogs, and I'd much rather throw them onto this column, so I can post and then go snuggle with the puppy trying her best to scootch me off the side of the bed. So without further ado...
